Tanzania
Especially famous for the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra and also known for its large amount of Nile crocodile, the Serengeti National Park is as big as Northern Ireland, its name coming from the Maasai language meaning "extended place." How easy it was each morning to get lost in the first light descending upon the plains and the sounds of the animals greeting the new day; yes, the Serengeti goes on seemingly forever and life there continues as it was meant to.
A picture is worth a thousand words...
