Tanzania
An
early morning wake-up call and an hour jeep ride in the dark so that
we would arrive at the departure point in plenty of time before
“balloon lift-off.” Floating over the Serengeti and watching the
sunrise was one of those “I need to pinch myself” moments when
all I wanted to do was stay in the air. To look out at the untouched
beauty all around and to know of the thousands of animals below was a
reminder of just how small I am in our universe, and how grateful I
am to be a part of it.
