Cruising on the Irrawaddy and the countryside, both green and brown, is in full view; pagodas dot the landscape; river vessels, whether small and used for fishing or large and used for transport, pass by; along the banks small towns are within reach...all it takes is getting off the boat and having a thirst for adventure.
And the best way to get a sense of it all is with pictures…a snapshot in the life...
