Bewitching Buenos Aires...

Buenos Aires, Argentina
March 7-9, 2016

What is it about Buenos Aires that so enchants me? I’ve been here before and was delighted with the city then, but this time is even better. Argentina’s history has known periods of growth and riches coupled with decades of political corruption and a failing economy, but its European inspired capital city steadfastly remains a place of physical beauty and beguiling charm from La Boca to Puerto Madero with a world of culture and tradition in between.

So what is it about Buenos Aires that so enchants me? It’s a bit of everything…the mystery of Evita and the Casa Rosada, the grand architecture of the Opera House, the tree-lined Avenida 9 De Julio - the widest avenue in the world, the soccer stadium proudly boasting the blue and gold of its champion team, the historic neighborhoods, the charming cafes, the Alfajores cookies that I could never eat enough of, or is it the seduction of the tango, a dance so beautiful and sensual that one is easily captured in its embrace…

Yes, it’s a bit of everything and then some…
